internet project and other available activities of class 603.

Genetics Project
Student Instructions: Read
pages in the Life Science textbook. Make sure you know the
difference between the terms dominant and recieve genes. If you do
not have the notes for Monday, April 30, 2001, see me or obtain a copy
from your classmates.
Go to Genetic
Traits and do the following:

What do you notice about the different faces?

Activity # 1: Formulate a Hypothesis:

State whether most people have the dominant or recessive trait.

Activity # 2: Collect Data

Collect the physical characteristics data
for each member of your family, including yourself.

Collect the physical characteristics data
for five of your classmates (see Ms. Wallace for
their names).

Continue collecting data from other students at IS 123. Make sure
you get their names to avoid duplications.

Activity # 3: Display Data

Construct a Line Graph, Bar Graph or Pictograph to visually show data collected.
